Batumi’s revival is underway from its resorts and downtown to its Old Town cobblestone streets. As part of the transformation, the City’s historic waterfront is preparing to undergo its rebirth. Over the next two years, Batumi will recast its historic harbourfront as a new center of commercial, civic, and maritime activity; a place for residents and visitors to spend an hour, an afternoon, or the day. A series of waterfront parks and esplanades connect four main districts, 164,000 sf of adaptive reuse, and new construction.
